One of the iconic rock bands of the Philippines, Kamikazee, concluded their US “Tagpuan Tour” for 2018.

Kamikazee’s Lead Vocalist; Jay Contreras, greets their fans in Virginia Beach, VA.

Performing their hits, and their latest song “Agimat.” The band sent the crowd, led by front-man and lead vocal Jay Contreras, high off their feet.

To close off their US “Tagpuan” Tour, the band played songs from their second album “Maharot.” It had been 11 years since I last saw Kamikazee perform live, and this album was their latest then when they opened for one of the legendary and also iconic band; Parokya Ni Edgar, for their “The Ordertaker” tour in September 30, 2007. That was the first time Kamikazee performed in Virginia.

Before Kamikazee took the stage, five acts opened for them: Project Jah, Generate, Pearse Abbey, Tixe, and Far Odessa. Pearse Abbey, and Tixe are good friends of mine and they earned their spot on that stage. Except for Nero of Tixe, who f***** up and did not tune his guitar. Just kidding.

After winning 2-1 on a best of three match against Bmore Pogi, Team SiCoVifilms.com is the champions of the INC MDA eSPORTS 2017 League of Legends eGames.

Each one of the players were given a Championship trophy. Even I, the coach, was given a trophy. I did not expect to receive one.

Team Sicovifilms.com are in the Finals!

Yesterday, 2017 01 16, my friends participated on their church's district League of Legends tournament.

The team's name is "www.sicovifilms.com" since they cannot decide what to call their team while signing up.

 

Our team made it to the Finals and will be playing a Best of 3 match this coming Sunday. It will be streamed in Twitch(exact link pending) and the team will be playing against last years champion.

The tournament might not be as compelling as other competitive League of Legends tournament out there, but it was a fun experience for me and my friends. I also thank them for using my website as the team name. Ha! Free ad!

Celebrated the first day of the year 2017 on my Bike!

Three hours before it's officially 2017 on the East Coast, I went to one of the liveliest places in the DMV: King Street in Old town Alexandria.

An hour before the new year, I decided that I wanted to see the pyrotechnics from a high ground, include the Potomac River on my image, and get a wide field of view without anything to obscure the fireworks. There is only one place that I know that fits the condition: the Woodrow Wilson Bridge trail.
